The Pfrombach winds as a green ribbon through a corn field in which the first tender shoots are growing. In a narrow strip to the left and right of the small Pfrombach near Niedererlbach, nature can still develop freely. In such small biotopes, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians have their last retreat in intensively agricultural areas. Agriculture, which takes up more than half of Germany’s area, has an important role in maintaining biodiversity.
