The New Schleißheim Palace in the municipality of Oberschleißheim in the Landkreis München extends over a length of more than 300 metres. The entire complex includes a total of 3 castle buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, which served as summer residences for the Bavarian electors. The baroque gardens still exist in their original basic structure. Broderiebeete and parterres give the gardens in front and behind the palace the typical symmetrical structure.
